Linn’s favorite Goss Chocolate recipes
Goss Chocolate Chunk Cookies:
2.5 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter or veg shortening
2 eggs
1 teaspoon real vanilla
1/2 cup creamcheese, yogurt or milk
1- 2 cups Goss chocolate chunks, milk or dark
cream sugar with butter or veg shortening,
add beaten eggs & vanilla,
add milk, yogurt or softened cream cheese,
slowly add flour & baking powder,
add Goss chocolate chunks at the end.
shape batter into balls or use tablespoon,
evenly distribute on greased cookie sheets,
bake at 350F for 10-12 mins, depending on size of cookie.
cool on rack and enjoy

Devil’s Food Cake with Goss Cocoa:
mix and set aside:
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup Goss cocoa
1/2 cup milk
beat until soft:
1/2 cup butter
add slowly
1/2 cup white sugar
continue beating,
separate
2 eggs, add the yolks only,
and the cocoa mixture
sift 2 cups flour with 1 teaspoon baking powder
add slowly to wet mixture
with additional 1/2 cup milk or creamcheese & 1 teaspoon real vanilla
and fold in at the end 2 beaten egg whites
grease & powder with cocoa or flour 2 9-inch round pans
fill both evenly and bake at 350F for 20-25 mins
dust cakes with sifted Goss powdered sugar or your favorite frosting.

Goss Chocolate Belizean Brownies:
melt in double boiler:
1/2 cup butter
4-8 oz unsweetened Goss chocolate
1/4 cup Goss cocoa powder
set aside and cool this mixture
beat light and foamy
4 eggs
add slowly & continue beating
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons real vanilla
combine cooled chocolate with sugar and eggs
fold in
1 cup sifted flour
stir in if you like
1 cup Belizean whole cashew nuts
bake in greased 9’ x13’ pan at 350F for 15-20 mins.
cut when cooled

Goss Extra Dark Chocolate Syrup:
1 cup Goss Cocoa Powder
1 cup Sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon real Vanilla
dash of salt
Combine cocoa, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Add small amount water & make thick smooth paste, add more water, and mix until smooth. Bring this mixture to a boil. Allow it to boil for one minute, be carefull this does not over boil. Remove from heat, when this cools add the vanilla.
